Lead notifications
Bectify can alert you when something needs your attention, such as a new lead or a booked appointment. You decide which events send an alert, how it arrives and who receives it. Everything is under Settings › Notifications.
Two kinds of settings
- Team notifications apply to the whole business. Only owners and admins can change them. Other teammates can see them.
- My notifications are personal. Only you can see and change yours.
Choose what triggers a team alert
- Open Settings › Notifications and go to What triggers an alert.
- Turn each event on or off:
- New lead — a new lead is captured across any channel.
- Missed call — a caller hangs up before connecting.
- Booking — an appointment is booked or confirmed.
- Lead goes quiet — a lead stops responding for a while.
- Daily summary — a once-a-day recap of the day's activity.
To start, New lead, Missed call and Booking are on. The other two are off.
Choose how team alerts arrive
Under How you get notified, select Email, Text, or both. The lines "Emails go to:" and "Texts go to:" show who receives each one.
Text alerts are for US accounts with texting turned on. On other accounts you will only see Email.
To add a phone that gets a text when a new lead comes in:
- Go to Text alert recipients.
- Enter the phone number and, if you like, a label.
- Select + Add.
Do not reply STOP to an alert
Alert texts come from the same number your customers text. If you reply STOP, every message from that number to your phone is blocked, including customer replies. To stop the alerts, remove your number from Text alert recipients instead.
Set your own notifications
- Open Settings › Notifications and go to My notifications.
- Under Your contact info, check your email. To get alerts on your phone, enter a number and select Save Phone Number.
- For each event, turn Email or Phone on or off.
The Phone switches stay off until you save a phone number, and they only appear on accounts with texting turned on. To start, New lead is on by email. The account owner also sees Tips and reminders (email), which starts on.
Review past alerts
The Alert feed on the same page lists recent alerts. Use Unread or All to filter, and Mark read when you have dealt with one.
