Export your leads
You can download your leads as a CSV file, a plain spreadsheet format that opens in Excel, Google Sheets and most other tools. Use it for your own reports or to bring your leads into another system.
Download a report
The export is in the top bar of the Inbox, on a computer.
- Open Inbox › All conversations.
- Select Download report at the top right.
- Under REPORT PERIOD, choose a range:
- Daily — today.
- Weekly — the last 7 days.
- Monthly — this month so far.
- Quarterly — the last 90 days.
- Custom — pick your own From and To dates.
- Select Download CSV.
The button shows "Preparing…" while the file is built, then your browser saves it. The file name starts with "leads" and ends with today's date.
What is in the file
One row per lead, with these columns: Name, Phone, Email, Address, Service, Channel, Status, Detail and Captured at.
The headings, the status and the channel are written in your portal language. Dates and times use your business time zone.
The export follows your filters
The file contains what you are looking at. If you have filtered the Inbox by channel or status, turned on Unread, or typed a search, the export applies the same filters within the period you chose: the leads that were active in that period.
To export everything for a period, clear your filters first.
Leads that do not appear in the Inbox list are not in the file either, such as a conversation the customer left before giving any details.
If the export fails
- "The start date must be before the end date." Fix the dates in a Custom range.
- "The export failed. Try again." Nothing was downloaded. Select Download CSV again. If your range is very large, try a shorter one.
Exporting contacts instead
Leads and contacts are separate lists. To download your contacts, open Inbox › Contacts and select Export CSV.
