Bectify

Change your email or password

Read in Spanish

You sign in to Bectify with your email and a password. You can change your password yourself at any time. Your sign-in email cannot be changed from the portal.

Change your password while signed in

  1. Open the account menu in the top bar and choose Profile. On a phone, tap your account picture at the top instead.
  2. Under Change password, type your new password in New password.
  3. Type it again in Confirm new password.
  4. Select Save.

Your new password must be at least 8 characters. To keep your current password, leave both fields blank.

If the password is not accepted

Your name and phone are saved first, so you may see a message that starts with "Profile saved, but…". It tells you what to fix:

  • the new password must be different from your current one
  • the password is too weak, so choose a stronger one
  • you need to sign in again before changing your password
  • there were too many attempts, so wait a moment and try again

Reset a forgotten password

  1. On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email and select Send reset link.
  3. Open the email from Bectify and follow the link.
  4. On the Set a new password page, type a new password. It needs at least 12 characters, at least one letter and at least one number.
  5. Select Set new password.

After step 2 the page says "If an account exists for {email}, we've sent a reset link." If no email arrives, check that you typed the address you sign in with, and look in your spam folder.

If the link says "This link has expired or was already used.", select Request a new one.

Change your email

Your email is shown in the Profile window, but you cannot edit it there. To use a different sign-in email, contact Bectify support. See "Contact Bectify support".

If a teammate needs access with their own email, the account owner can invite them from Settings › Team instead.

Change your name or phone

In the same Profile window, edit Name or Phone and select Save.
